Reflections of Noh'relia

Pudoris

Pudoris is a coniferous and deciduous mixed forest region in the North of Noh’relia and is the first area when starting a new game.

After murdering the King of Noh’relia, Basewin went into hiding in the Pudoris valley where no one would find him. It’s a beautiful, but dangerous valley full of bandits and Kobolds that have little to no honor and will kill anyone who stand in their way.

Castitate

Castitate is the home of Rainhold Castle, amongst other beautiful sights. Many nobles live here peacfully. The land around the castle is comprised of small family farms that are needed to produce the vast amount of food needed to feed everyone in the Kingdom. It’s also the most diverse region since it borders both the swamplands and the flatlands.

Caritas

Caritas is the coldest region of Noh’relia. It lies east of Pudoris and Castitate, and North of the swampland of Diligentia. It’s so cold here that few folk call this place home. It instead presents more devious and dangerous creatures that will challenge any travelers.

To those who can make the hike through the perilous mountains, the castle of Winterhold awaits, but beware. Northerners are weary of any stranger.

Diligentia

Diligentia is a dark and swampy region that few dare to explore. Those who venture inside seldom return. Deep inside the swamp is Marshden Village, a tribal place where most inhabitants speak an inexplicable language. The villagers here know the secrets of how to survive in the abominable conditions, but more importantly, how to avoid the Swamp Hag.

Navigating your way around the sombre paths can confuse the strongest of minds and lead any adventurer into strange depths, and straight into trouble.

Cantantes

Flat, sandy, arid and dry are just a few ways to describe Cantantes. It’s a tough region for any living thing to survive, be it Man or not. It’s very hot and the expansive deserts make it hard to find your way, even for the most experienced navigators.

This region is also home to many bandit clans as it’s far out of reach of both Borougham and Rainhold Castles, and therefore, beyond the law.

Humilitatem

A long time ago, before the age of Man, Centaurs ruled Noh’relia. After the war, not much of the former Kingdom of the Centaurs remains in Humilitatem. It’s a windy, desolate landscape marred by a sad past it can’t escape. Ruins and arid mountains are all that remain in this once glorious area.

Humans rarely venture past the border since there is not much to gain from venturing deeper into Centaur land. Those that do are often met with aggressive hostility.

Patientia

One of the most lively regions in Noh’relia, Patientia hosts many interesting creatures but more importantly it served as a defensive region during the war. There are three strategically placed castles in this region, each designed to ward off the Centaur invasion, a threat now passed.

In the West stands Borougham, the biggest Castle Noh’relia, and to the east is Lignum’s Way, of town full of ‘unusual’ folk.
